We will be discussing the revised bylaws during the Booster meeting on Monday, 9/17.
Band Camp runs from Monday, 7/23 through Thursday, 7/26. Doors open at 7 am, and students should plan to arrive by 7:30 am. Daytime activities end a 6 pm, with a dinner break from 6-7 pm. Evening activities start at 7 pm and finish by 9 pm.

Finish your spring cleaning and bring your no longer needed items to Saguaro on Saturday, April 14th, between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. Saguaro Band Boosters will earn money for every pound donated. Donate your no longer used clothes, small furniture and appliance items, electronics, dishware, glasses, etc. You can view a complete list of permissible items here.
Eat at Portillo’s and 20% of your bill will be donated to the Saguaro Band. This fundraiser is taking place on Tuesday, March 6, from 3-9 pm at the Portillo’s located at 10574 N 90th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85258

Jazz and Chocolate is coming on March 24-25th and it is our biggest band fundraiser for the year–not just for jazz band, but for ALL bands! The Band Boosters are already busy preparing. During the event we hold a silent auction of donated items. We would love for you to use the attached donation request letter to reach out to your contacts and favorite places of business to ask for a donation for our event. A receipt is also attached, to thank the donor and allow them to claim their donation for tax purposes. Both items have our charity tax ID number listed at the bottom of the letterhead. Many retailers and restaurants are willing to donate if you give them ample time, so please. don’t wait!

The Marching Band will be performing on Friday, July 21 at Mountain Shadows Resort. Students must arrange their own transportation to/from this event and will need to be present from 5:30pm-7:30pm.

The Band Boosters will be running the concessions for Freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity football games. We need volunteers to help with simple food prep and sales during the games.
In order to help with concessions, volunteers need a current food handler’s permit. The permits can be obtained after taking a short (less than an hour) course online and passing an online quiz. The cost is less than $15.

For ALL SHS BANDS: When you are going to miss a rehearsal or performance (besides the normal class hour), the form you need to complete can now be found on the Downloads page. To receive an excused absence, your request is due 2 weeks before the date of the rehearsal or performance. If you know of any conflicts already, please submit these forms now.
