band camp - july 2019

BAND CAMP SCHEDULE (UPDATES COMING SOON)

*All events take place at Saguaro High School – meet in the band room*

July 9th 6pm-8pm – If you’re in town Tuesdays
July 11th Morning TBA – Student leadership meeting/work time
July 16th 6pm-8pm – If you’re in town Tuesdays
July 18th Morning TBA – Student leadership meeting/work time
July 31st 6pm-8pm – If you’re in town Tuesdays

Week Long Band Camp

*Band camp is an all day REQUIRED event*

Monday, July 22nd – 8am-6pm
Tuesday, July 23rd – 8am-6pm
Wednesday, July 24th – 8am-6pm
Thursday, July 25th – 8am-6pm
Friday, July 26th – 8am – 9pm

Camp Daily Schedule:
7am – Door open
8am – Marching rehearsal and movement rehearsal
11am – Break for lunch (Students MUST bring their own lunch)
12pm – Full ensemble warm up in band room
12:30pm – Sectionals break out
2pm – Break/Activity
2:30pm – Full WIND rehearsal in band room
4pm – Full WIND and PERCUSSION rehearsal
5:30pm – Full ensemble with guard in band room
6pm – Rehearsals end – released for dinner Monday through Wednesday
          Thursday: 5:30pm Family/Friend performance
          Friday: Done after lunch. Senior night, skit night, and final camp activities. Released between 8-9pm. Dinner provided.
7pm – OPTIONAL TEAM BUILDING (Monday through Wednesday, Thursday night free, Friday night required)
          Monday: Movie Night
          Tuesday: Bunco Night
          Wednesday: TBA
          Thursday: rest
          Friday: End of camp activities (required)
